Urology is the specialty that deals with complaints concerning the male and female urinary tract and male genitalia. You can think of problems with your pelvic floor, bladder, prostate, penis or kidney. Common problems are urinary complaints, kidney stones, cystitis, incontinence, malignancies (bladder cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer) and male infertility. The St. Vincentius Hospital has a partnership with the Uro-Sur Foundation, which offers urological care. This applies to both outpatient and clinical care. The Uro-Sur Foundation makes sure that a urologist travels from the Netherlands every month to guarantee the urological care in St. Vincentius Hospital.
